Escorts in Prague: no law was ever written, and that is the whole problem
Most countries decided something about sex work. The Czech Republic never did, and the whole situation follows from that. Selling and buying between adults is not a crime because no statute makes it one. Living off it is: Section 189 of the Criminal Code punishes pimping with six months to four years, and running a brothel falls under the same section. Three attempts to legalise and regulate have gone through parliament and none has landed.
What that produces is an enormous industry that advertises "company" and "relaxation", because those are the only words it can legally use, and that nobody registers, inspects or licenses. There is no card, no certificate and no authority to check with. The advert is the entire body of available information, and the advert is a claim, never a credential.
Why Prague catches people out
Prague has been a weekend city for twenty-five years, and the whole trade is built for people who will not be here on Tuesday. Stag parties, cheap flights, four months of summer that behave nothing like the other eight. That is exactly the ground where recycled profiles work: the same gallery on four sites, the same number under three names, the same twelve photographs taken six years ago somewhere else. Nobody is around the following week to say how it went.

The forty minutes that decide the evening
Men who have good evenings in Prague almost all do the same thing: they meet at a bar first. Forty minutes at Hemingway Bar or Black Angel's before anything else. It is not a courtesy. It is the cheapest test there is - at a bar you know within ten minutes whether the evening is going anywhere, and you can leave without drama if it is not. In a flat off a courtyard you could not find again, you cannot.
What "verified" means here
Verified here means one thing, and it is the thing that goes wrong most: a face and body video review, watched by a person, matched against the gallery, before the profile went live. It is not a health certificate and it does not make an evening good, which is still your part. It removes the failure that starts almost every bad story, which is that the woman at the door was never the woman in the photographs.
The rest is Prague. Be on time, settle the practical once and never again, and treat her like someone you want to see again. In this city you get remarkably far simply by not being an idiot.
